Card is a third semester Thaumatology (Magic) Major at Cowden University, a major which he is unnervingly good at and extremely interested: his dream is to one day work for M.A.G.I. (Metaphysical Aid to Government Inquiries). He has been friends with both Rom and Penny since their High School years, and the three form a tight knit group, though they have been affiliated with other groups in the past. Card is gay, but never having found anyone he finds more interesting than his Thaum studies, he has yet to date or (not that he would ever admit it) be kissed.

Rom is, in a word, liberated. Though stuborn at times, he is for the most part easy going and impulsive, traits aided by an off the chart "Cool Factor" and a libido the size of the Chrystler Building. (More than once he has gotten caught in strange situations while attempting to summon some sort of Sex Fiend with Card's Grimoire.) After basically throwing away his first semester at school, Rom is pretty much a straight B Student. Major undecided, but leaning towards history.

PENELOPE "PENNY" FELINA

Interests: Literature, Fantasy, Fencing, LARPing
Pet Peeves: People being idiots
An unusual blend of personalities, Penny can go from feline inscrutability to kittenish enthusiasm in a fraction of a second on whims, accounted for in her diverse interests. Some theorize that this is due to her massively underdeveloped Kinetic Talent, but others say that's just part of who she is. Overall the most levelheaded of the group, this does not keep her from getting into elongated, "Princess Bride" fencing matches in Toy Stores; she is old friends with both Card and Rom, and usually the one running interference.

GEOFFREY "GEOFF" WEST
Age: 20
Species: Buffalo
Interests: DMing/Pen & Paper RPGS, Programming, LARPing, (Security)
Pet Peeves: Easily flustered
Geoff is Penny's boyfriend, a Programming Major at Cowden University hoping to go into the making of RPGs. Though normally a fairly level guy, he is easily flustered by surprizes, making his experience in his present circle of friends something of an adventure.
